BUTTERMILK CO.
An ex Amazon software developer, Raman, left her job to start up an food delivery service, Buttermilk Co.
The service/product includes ready to cook meals (mainly Indian cuisine) just by adding water plus
delivery service. Raman was inspired to start this journey when her mother sent her ingredients in a bag
to make rasam and all she needed to do was add water.

Raman is someone I inspire to be. Raman found a passion and took a risk. I know a handful of people
like Raman, they have a great, well paying job but one day they decide to do something totally
unexpected and follow their passion. Some people have always followed their passion, some people
are still seeking for their passion and some people are scared of their passion. It's hard to follow a
passion even if that passion may not support your living but it's worth it in the end.

This is a really cool story! It's one of those things that makes you feel good when you read about it. I agree that it is really inspiring to see someone pursue the things they are passionate about and even more inspiring when they succeed in those things. Does this motivate you to want to pursue some sort of career in the culinary arts? Or is this just something you would rather do as a hobby? Really good blog overall, if I could change anything I would just want to know more about Raman so if you found more information on her story you could add a link for viewers to be able to investigate more!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really investing story! It's always really neat to learn about how individuals are striving to become better an ultimately innovative. It's always interesting to see these dramatic changes in peoples profession. It seems like Raman made a great descion and is likely happier doing this job as opposed to working for amazon.
ReplyDeleteI have always thought that your passion should lead you down your career path and this story proves that you can always have faith in what your passionate about. Thank you for sharing this story, it was a nice inspiration reminder!
